1. Who we are

Angika Foods sells packaged foods inspired by the kitchens of Bihar. We operate from Mandar Hill, Bhagalpur, Bihar, India. You can reach us at [email protected] or +91-9576761105.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract under Indian law to create an account or place an order. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account.

3. Account registration

You agree to provide true, complete, and current information (name, email, phone, and delivery address). We may suspend or close an account if details are false, if we detect misuse, or if required by law.

4. Cancellation and returns

Requests for order cancellation are accepted only before the order has been dispatched. Due to the perishable nature of food items, returns are limited as follows:

• Cancellations: accepted only before the order has been dispatched.
• Returns: accepted strictly for damaged, defective, or incorrect items delivered.
• Report window: claims must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
• Proof required: unboxing video proof of the outer carton, inner pack, and the defect.

5. Products, prices, and stock

We sell packaged food products. Weights, ingredients, and best-before dates on the pack are the final reference if they differ from the website. Prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Offers, coupons, and stock can change without notice. The amount shown at checkout, after any valid coupon, is the amount you pay. We may refuse or cancel an order if an item is out of stock, a price is listed in error, your pin code is not serviceable, or we reasonably suspect fraud.

6. Orders and payment

An order is accepted only after successful payment. We use a third-party payment partner (currently Razorpay) for cards, UPI, net banking, and other methods they support. We do not store your full card number, CVV, or UPI PIN.

If payment fails or is not completed, the order remains unpaid and is not dispatched. You may try again from checkout.

7. Coupons and offers

Promotional and early-bird coupons are issued at our discretion. Pre-launch early-bird codes are unique to the registered email, must be entered manually at checkout, and can be used only once. Coupons cannot be exchanged for cash, combined unless we say so, or transferred to another person.

Misuse of codes (sharing a personal code, automated abuse, or applying a code you were not issued) may lead to cancellation of the discount or the order.

8. Delivery

We ship to serviceable pin codes in India. Your pin code is checked at checkout. Delivery timelines and charges are described in our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you provided.

9. Food safety and use

Store and consume products as printed on the pack:

• Do not use a product past its best-before date, or if the seal is broken.
• The best-before date printed on the pack is the final reference.
• We are not responsible for spoilage caused by delay in collecting a parcel, incorrect storage after delivery, or use contrary to pack instructions.

10. Intellectual property

The Angika Foods name, logo, product photography, and website content are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, republish, or use them for commercial purposes without written permission.

11. User content and product reviews

If you submit product reviews, ratings, comments, photos, videos, or other content on the website (including through our feedback form), you grant Angika Foods a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, display, distribute, adapt, and moderate that content in connection with our products, website, and marketing, without any royalty or other payment to you.

You confirm that you own or have the right to submit the content and that it is not unlawful, defamatory, or misleading. We may edit, refuse, or remove any submission at any time.

12. Force majeure

Angika Foods is not liable for delay, failure to perform, or interruption of fulfillment or delivery caused by events beyond our reasonable control. In such cases we may delay dispatch, cancel the affected order, or offer a refund or replacement at our discretion. These events include, without limitation:

• Severe weather, floods, earthquakes, fire, or other natural disasters.
• Strikes, lockouts, labour disputes, or transport bans and disruptions.
• Courier or logistics failures, epidemics, government orders, war, terrorism, or civil unrest.
• Power or internet outages, or failures of third-party payment or shipping providers.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, Angika Foods is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss (including loss of profit or data) arising from use of the website, delayed or failed delivery by a courier, or interruption of a third-party payment service. Our liability for a proven defect in a product we sold is limited to replacement of that product or refund of the amount you paid for it.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other mandatory law.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date on this page will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your rights as a consumer, courts at Bhagalpur, Bihar shall have jurisdiction. You may also use the National Consumer Helpline or a consumer commission as applicable.
